Rikke Van Johnson

Rikke Van Johnson is a graduate of Eisenhower High School in Rialto, California, and has an Associate of Arts Degree from San Bernardino Valley College.

Mr. Johnson is a 44 year resident of the City of San Bernardino. He was first elected to the City Council in November 2003 and was sworn in to represent the residents of the Sixth Ward of the City of San Bernardino on March 1, 2004. He was re-elected to the City Council in November 2007, and his current term will expire in March 2011.

Mr. Johnson serves the City of San Bernardino as a delegate on the Inland Valley Development Agency Board and the San Bernardino International Airport Authority Commission.

Mr. Johnson is a Deacon at Ecclesia Christian Fellowship Church in San Bernardino, where he serves as Family Ministries Director. He is a lifetime member of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) and is also a member of the Westside Action Group (WAG). He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Boys & Girls Club of San Bernardino.

Mr. Johnson and his wife, Sharon, have two daughters, Monique and Erika, one son, Julian, and one granddaughter, Kiara.
